Yeah there are a lot a**holes out there who love power trips. I've encountered managers who throw off work to employees just because they can and they don't want to do it. I've seen it with parents as well. Power corrupts it really does. It's too easy to run over someone weaker.

Reminds me of a conversation I had a few day ago, on how that kind of company or boss demand loyalty and respect from their employees without having earned it. That's part of the reason I've always had a hard time holding a job, I'd rather lose my job than be stepped on by anyone.

Cloud7593, yes. Except I'm not so sure they aren't weaker themselves. It's like they're trying to bring everyone else down so they can try to convince themselves. Weak people with authority.
