I'm a Loner Most of the Time

[image deleted]Can you speak about emptiness
Is it numbness that you’re feeling
I feel it as I walk through the world
Like a wind through me is blowing

This spaciousness, not having a self
Can you feel the 'voidness' of being
Most of us are terrified of going there
And yet, it is a powerful thing

What if we rocked our emptiness
And felt the perimeter of ourselves
Stayed in the void, relished the silence
Made friends with peace waiting for us

What if we got off on the discomfort of emptiness
And let it be catalyst for creative tension
Maybe we’re just one mental reframe away
From universal emptiness into personal power

And perhaps we can walk around
Feeling like anything is possible
A great potential, full of possibility
......Empty...yet so full.

To be at home in groundlessness is a high tenet in Buddhism 🙏

@DanielChristensen Wow, that's deep. I wonder if you're into Buddhism, my friend. What is meant by "being at home in groundlessness." I have an idea, but then I want to hear it from the teacher himself. 😊

@SW-User lol I only took meditation courses, once a week, for a year. Not an authority by any measure.

Groundlessness is impermanence. That circumstances are always changing, that bad things will happen. To embrace emptiness is to be okay in the now, release expectations, do what you can, but embrace acceptance. I am all over the place lol. It's a beautiful philosophy

@DanielChristensen 😊 Okay, okay...😂. Thank you for the explanation.

Sorry for the emptyness. I feel it at times inside me, too.

@JoyfulSilence What is the sound of emptiness.😊Just asking.🙃 ...Thanks for dropping by.✌

It is an awful noise. The emptiness. And it never stops groaning.

Bliss is silent, by comparison.
SW-User
@JoyfulSilence Oh beautiful answer. There's a big difference between emptiness and bliss, I understand. Thank you.
