I Like to Write Stuff

Another user inspired this when he mentioned some of my 'word tapestry tirades'. The things that really matter can be lost easily in fits of passion. I think the title is kind of silly, but it is what it is.

I'd Better.

There are better things to do,
than shake my fist and stomp my feet,
There are better things to say,
than words intended to defeat.
There are better things to write,
than tomes and musings born of spite.

There is a better place to be,
than here in bitter vanity,
and there are better things to see,
than the worst inside both you and me.
There's better things I can believe,
and better word webs I can weave.

I know there is a better way,
and better music I can play;
to accompany a better day.
Than all these dreary shades of gray
I must soon be underway
I'd better go since I can't stay.
