Yes. You do. Sugar is such a difficult addiction to kick, because it's in almost everything. It's legal. No stigma attached to using it. It's sneaky. It hides in things like carrots, onions, corn, etc.
Best way to help yourself is by learning to prepare meals for diabetics before you become one. And eat them to prevent becoming one.

Yes, you don't want to have diabetes. There's probably a gazillion people with the disease but it would suck I'm sure.
