I Am Not Everyones Cup Of Tea

I'm pretty much everyone's cup of tea, but that's because they don't really know me. Under my candy-coated exterior, I'm actually quite tart. I enjoy dry sarcasm. I'm a realist (although I wish I were more optimistic at times), and I kind of have a problem with wanting to be in control. Those that are close to me and unlucky enough that I can be myself around them... I am not their cup of tea.

In spite of this, those people that I've allowed to be close to me love me anyways. And because of this, they are the one's that I feel comfortable enough to be myself around, whether I'm bitter or sweet.
