I Want to Thank Our Veterans

I believe a lot of people today, especially with all the s*** in the media, tend to forget that there are hard working men and women out there who are defending our freedom. Even those who have the smallest jobs in the military, are still working hard so we have the freedom and privilege to go home to our families, to hangout with our friends, to have disagreements. We all take for granted all the freedoms we have and most of the time we disregard all the men and who have served, many who have DIED defending those freedoms. We sit here in America not worrying about a thing, when there are men and women risking their lives to make sure we don't HAVE to worry. There are many veterans who come back, with serious injuries, PTSD, and some end up homeless. PEOPLE THAT GAVE UP EVERYTHING TO DEFEND OUR COUNTRY ARE HOMELESS.

A few days ago or so I posted a question on here saying what do you think of people who burn the American flag. People responded by saying, it's their first amendment right, it's just a piece of colored cloth, stuff like that. I get that people have the right to protest (1st amendment), but do you really think that a good form of protest is burning a "colored piece of cloth" that is a symbol of freedom, and represents all the men and women who have served and died for OUR freedom?

I think that the least we can all do, is when we see a veteran, stop for a sec, and take the time to thank him/her for their service to this country, to let them know that what they did is at least appreciated. Or donate to causes that are created to help veterans. My name is Daniel and I'm a proud American citizen who loves his country and our veterans

P.S. My great grandfather served in WW2. And if he was alive today, I would thank him for serving our country. And the music video is something you should all watch
