I Need to Escape

So, moving on I take a ride down memory lane. From a young age Ive encouraged my boys to come cycle with me. Every weekend we would take this path and one that I called "Smugglers Trail." As we rode through the tree tunnel I'd spin them tails about dandy highway men smuggling their treasures along the path. Naturally they've grown out of it now and dont want to ride with Dad.

They'd rather stay at home and play fortnite. But as I rode on my own today I spun myself another adventure from down memory lane.

I know they will want to ride with me again some day. I just hope Im still able to. I know those fables I told sparked their young imaginations and one day they'll hopefully ride Smugglers Trail with their own children.

I come here to escape the fog and this little guy rocks up for some company. What does a guy have to do to be alone? I didnt even have any treats to give him other than a friendly stroke.

Peaceful and relaxing.
