I Love to Excercise

Preparing a cup of tea burns 75 calories.

Whenever I get on to my treadmill, I look at the dashboard and stop exercising at 150 calories. Thats coz it's as much exercise as making two cups of tea.

hheehee.

Sometimes we need motivation to exercise even though it may be a dreaded act sometimes, for some people like me.

Getting on the treadmill is something I usually never do, until I read recently that its easier to burn off breakfast. And if we only get fat coz of what we put into our bodies (i.e. what we eat)then thats enough motivation to spend even just 15 minutes on my treadmill everyday.

So...that's an exercise tip for people who would simply love to get fitter! Every little helps remember that! Thats not exactly a fitness mantra, but atleast its an excuse to exercise.

You are right though, every little bit helps.
I find exercise easy but i still focus on trying to achieve around 10,000 steps a day. Do that for a week and you'll be like wow.

@WhisperinAngelic101 I have been a regular runner since i was 15 but i don't enjoy running in the mornings. So i leave it for later in the day. Also i think running is something you need to work up to from walking. You'll hear some people trying to encourage others to get fit and telling them to just start running. This is about the worst thing to do because it puts a lot of strain on the body, muscles, joints etc. I always recommend walking for days or weeks for like half an hour to an hour a day before attempting running, and then like run/walk/run/walk etc and build up to it slowly. But many people, particularly women do no exercise all their lives, have children, carry extra weight etc, then hit 40 or 50 and become marathon runners and do all this incredible fitness things. So there's definitely time for you and you'll know if and when you are ready :)
Right, I think I can run at a moderate pace for about a minute after that I have to stop. I used to be fitter, depression got me down and I put on 10 kgs!I guess it didnt help the jogging effort

@WhisperinAngelic101 I know what it’s like with depression and weight gain. I feel I’m in a battle with both constantly. And you’re right, you don’t need to put on much weight for it to affect your jogging.

How are you making tea that burns 75 calories? I'd make 20 cups a day and lose loads of weight
@Spectre128 I read that on Google. I'm sure it would be possible though if you swing ur hips a little and move around a bit while stirring the tea.

@WhisperinAngelic101 definately going to be swinging those hips while making tea from now on, can earn another biscuit that way 😁
