I Have Had Food Poisoning

I was supposed to help out cooking for Thanksgiving, but I’ve had food poisoning from eating out at Subway last night. Since I’m diabetic it’s REALLY messed me up. But was wondering g -do other people feel like they’re dying when they’re sick? I don’t mean metaphorically dying... I mean pounding heart pounding head difficulty breathing unable to just be more than just exhausted? I’m past the 24 hour mark... thank God have returned to normal hydration levels.. but the ringing in my ears and the exhaustion is frightening...it’s been frightening. Does being deliriously sick make you think of death? Or like you might die?

Yes, at times. I am lactose intolerant, and also have diverticulitis. It took me over two years to figure out what was happening to me. Being THAT sick...sweating bullets, dizzy...it's just horrifying.
