Can anyone help???

We had “a” rat coming in our home for months now and no matter what I do or use it’s just not worked I’m NOT using poison at all.
So far I’ve use snap traps with loads of peanut butter because apparently they love it. It has set them off but I think that’s just with it walking by it maybe.
I’ve got a walk in box kinda trap and it’s not even set off at all this rat has ruined a lot of my kids clothes and ripped up loads of things.
It’s out every night I can hear it.
Boyfriend says he’s gonna cement the holes up... like what’s that gonna do.
Any ideas please ???

@MiraRoss does your landlord know you have rodent issues?

@redback yes before we moved in there was same problem

@MiraRoss you maybe able to put it back on them but depends on your lease agreement.
Otherwise put steel wool in all penetrations and possibly purchase an electronic rodent repeller that plugs into your wall power outlet.

@geoam1 I’ve learned not to rely on anyone. Still waiting on him to sort walls out

@redback I’ve asked boyfriend to ask him about it long time ago he said he says no

@MiraRoss technically rats are animals 😬 Ask your landlord why he allows rats if he doesn't allow cats.

@assemblingaknob and cats don’t make loads of mess
