Honestly of all my partners they never really got me excellent gifts. I gave an ipad to a partner though. We were going on vaca and it was much more portable than a laptop and he could read books easily on it. when we broke up i wished i had taken it back tbh. Not that I needed one - I had one. I was just pissed off.

I never had another "half" but my father sent me a dozen roses oncce when I was in college.
