I'm so sorry!😔 This happened as well to a very good friend of mine. They were together thirty years as well. He cried through Christmas, it was his first without her.💔He's alone now, but has since gotten a dog. It was a struggle for him to care for her, she kept falling and he couldn't pick her up anymore. Her last five months was in a nursing home, he felt so guilty about that. But he's 80 years old and just couldn't do it.💙 I will never understand why the end of our life has to be so sad.
