I also scratch until there is nothing but blood. I have done it for a long time. Initially thought it was due to my severe allergies. It was, partially. But for some of us, it is a whole other issue. Its called Dermatillomania. I didnt know there was a actual term for it until two days ago when I found the group here on EP. Below is the groups name. Some of you may want to check it out. There may be answers for you there also.
