I Had Knee Surgery

I just had my second knee surgery yesterday. This time it was my right knee.

Between October to January, I've had 2 knee surgeries. Basically the same thing. They cleaned it out; a loose piece of meniscus, and an mcl ligament that was torn in the back of the leg.

Well when I came out, I wasn't in as much pain the first time around. I had the shakes longer this time. And my kidz aren't as nice to me this time lol. but everytime I say owie, my kidz kiss my knee and leg. Its kinda cute.

I'm taking it easy. This time around I was able to eat a meal days before the last time. I'm not as groggy. I know the knees are gonna take time. Even after I quit limping, I'm gonna need some major quad development to protect my knees.

I want to get a stationary bike to ride 2-3x a week. and in the future, A spin bike when my quads are stronger.

Anways, I can't wait to get better.

Remembr the old story Slow and steady wins the race. true in many ways but tough to do , It seems to work in relationships also , don't give up. Anyway glad you are getting better.

Sorry to hear you have knee problems but at least your getting it sorted and you know what you need to do for long term recovery

I once had an artheoscraphy in my knee don't remember what its for but had to have proper knee surgery but I got better
Surgeons told me to take walks gradually getting longer to help with the recovery

Hey---you are very young to have children and knee surgery. Aren't you ? You must have undergone some serious medical procedures. Are you

Oh by the way..I was on your post about Aspergers.
I began reading responses from a woman who calls herself mettamoma
(Something of the sort).
I found her exhausting and exasperating.
I quite took offence to her tone in response to your post.
I checked out her profile just so I would have some context and she is a 60-65 year old woman that dissolved her sexless marriage as of June 2014.
Now she's quite full of herself..if you visit your post you will read my responses to you and my not so generous responses to her..basically I was not liking the way she was lecturing you.. I kind of lamb basted her big time but she was terrible.
Check it out let me know your position.

the good thing is your at an age where recovery should not be to hard might not be quick but should be ok if you had been older it could have been much worse and recovery might have taken much longer
darktippedrose · 36-40, F
that is soooo very true!!!!

How is it (if I may ask) that you needed knee surgery twice at such a young age?
darktippedrose · 36-40, F
both of my knees had a loose piece of meniscus floating around and my medial ligament tore towards the back of my leg. my left in october and my right just last week.
Tannasheart
Wow so what caused this?
darktippedrose · 36-40, F
i think its from doing workouts that I shouldn't have been doing at my weight and having weak quads
Tinymuel
You should check out bee sting therapy. May sound crazy, but it works on my joints
