I Have Schizoaffective Disorder

I take one 100mg tablet of Clozapine and it’s like eating 1500 calories! Each day on top of my diet and exercise I gain 1-3 lbs every few weeks! How do I stop gaining weight?

Sadly that can be a side effect. But unless you want to try a med with possible different effects it is something you have to live with:(. Have you tried any other AP's?

Yes I’ve tried respiradone latuda invega and many more short term but nothing worked@canusernamebemyusername I also have to go in for blood work every two weeks to check on my white blood cell count cause if it drops I could die from an infection plus it’s the worst drug for weight gain

@saintsong Have you tried the newer ones that are dopamine agonists like Rexulti or Abilify?
