I Love Handwritten Letters

Does anyone write letters anymore? As in handwritten in pen, on paper, sealed in an envelope and stamped? Receiving a letter was like getting a small gift in my mailbox. Someone took the time out of his or her day to think of me, sit down, and craft a little slice of company for me. I, in turn, did the same. Even had a fountain pen I would use on my good paper to write to a select few. Are those days gone for good?

I know technology has taken over. It would be nice to send and receive something tangible now and then.

I agree. I love receiving hand-written letters. I often think I don't have time to write them, but I probably would if I didn't spend so much time online. ;) My mom still sends Hallmark cards quite often. It's lovely to receive something in the mail that someone took the time to write and send.

Yes...it truly is a treat. Online can be tempting, but nothing beats a hand-crafted letter.
