Palo Duro Canyon... second only to the Grand Canyon

@TexChik Oh my god that sunset! So so beautiful. I visited the grand canyon once it took my breath away

@AliceNoctem on cloudy days there are a lot of shutter bugs out there ... and that parking lot was full . My hubby took that . He has an eye for it. Buffalo used to fill that basin ... plenty of grass and water . 3 tribes of Indians also lived around it

@Stereoguy Texas Panhandle ... near Canyon , Tx. A cute little college town not far from Amarillo

@Stereoguy they also have a summer musical down on the canyon floor in an amphitheater called TEXAS. I’m sure this year is screwed up but next year 🤷🏻‍♀️. It gets hot but lots like the 4th because of the Fire works . It’s worth a visit

It was a wet spring ... Texas is known for its wildflowers in spring . These are bluebonnets , the state flower . For about 3 weeks our farm was transformed into a magical place

@Stereoguy spring is violent ... the farm has been getting a lot of severe storms the last 2 weeks which is unusual . Usually June and July and October. First ice storm hits around Halloween

@Stereoguy There especially the canyon roads get icy and slick
