@AliceNoctem We know it better on some sides than others; my paternal great-grandfather was killed by a drunk driver when my grandfather was 6, so we don't really know anything about the family on that side past him. 🤔
I would love to go someday! I've only ever been in the US and Canada, but someday I shall expand! 😤
@AliceNoctem It would be lovely if the drama ended there, but his mother was so out of whack about it all that she didn't have him inoculated against yellow fever. He ended up contracting it and developed rheumatoid arthritis from that. :/
I believe it! I love culture and meeting people, so traveling is definitely on the bucket list. :)
I’m primarily taken by the little gifts nature brings my way, but honestly I take pictures of all sorts of things that make me feel something strong enough within the moment that I pause, legit pause to connect with what’s in front of me. In that moment everything stops, including the world still going 90 to nothing around me and the chaos trying to fall in line within me. I take pictures of what fuels my heart and soul, I suppose.

Well done! I love taking sunset shots as I enjoy the variety and change of colours. I'm trying to work on astrophotography as well, however I find that hard with light and exposure times etc.
@AliceNoctem yeah this was a black sand beach in New Zealand. i was just doing a low level shot, then someone picked up a shell as I was taking the photo and timed it perfectly!
Butterflies but I suck at it. I have a compact camera which is not suitable for this type of photography and it broke recently anyway so I need to send it to service. :/
@CrazyMusicLover Ah we don't get too many nice looking butterflies in this country 😩 also they fly away if you get anywhere near them which isn't great for someone like me using their phone 😂 Managed to get a couple of pics of a little mint moth the other day though
