Unfortunately the emotions come later. Late at night when you're alone. Or at the wrong times with loved ones. I always used to say the worst was what one human has done to another.

We have a saying on our crew, If you won't tell me what's eating you I'll call everyone on staff and we'll sit here until you do. Don't ever swallow it. If you need give me a shout I'll talk it out with you.@SageWanderer

@MedicFun Things have come a long way since my days in EMS. We just called it burnout and watched people move on instead of stepping in to help. I've got stories as I'm sure you do. Stay safe out there, yourself and your crew.
