I Hate People Who Abuse the Elderly

It’s just my opinion but I think that in some cases elderly abuse can be worse than child abuse. The reason is that children can grow to be older and be able to tell and get help for the abuse, but the elderly have reached the end, unless the abusers are caught out then nobody will ever know and the abuse will continue for the rest of their days.

Also the loneliness old people feel must be crushing when they have been abused because the flashbacks and memories will haunt them thlugh every lonely isolated period.

Both are absolutely horrific and should never be committed ever. Anyone who commits either should be thrown into a vat of acid.

exactly, we never ever let my nan go into a home for fear of abuse happening. She was already disabled (sudo/-paraplegic) and it ended up where she couldn’t speak so she would be able to escape or speak out. I doubt if any d us could live with ourselves if we did put her in a home and she was abused

i've seen how people are treated in assisted living facilities and nursing homes. i was sent to one after getting out of the hospital. i still have nightmares.
