I Have Been To The Vets

My dog was 14 years old. Couldn't walk, couldn't see, couldn't even control his own bowel movements. It was time, but we put him to sleep. Really excited to go for a car ride, he had that strength to walk to the car, but he didn't realize it was his last. Our second dog was starving herself since then, 6 months later, she weighed half of her original weight by the time we took her to the vet. She was put to sleep when she was 13.

She died of a broken heart.

I am so so sorry to hear... This post put me in tears... It really makes me sad because human can use words to talk about their broken heart and sadness, but it's harder for animals to communicate their sorrow...

Our 2nd dog was sad, she wouldn't look at us in the eyes. If she escaped, she'd run in the same direction we last drove our first dog. Both dogs had develop lumps on them, even with surgery (tissue growth, not tumors), they grew back for some reason. Our second dog was limping as she walked, she wasn't the same since. Our 3rd dog, the little devil didn't care, she's just the same as the day we got her. She's 7 years old now.
I'm glad you have one now...

Always had more than one. First dog, 2nd dog a yr later, then a 3rd dog (a stray that died a week later due to distemper), then another 3rd dog (the living 7 yr old now), and 4th dog, 1 yr old atm, probably a reincarnation as our first dog, cuz she sleeps the same way n in the same places as our first dog. o.o
Aww!! Nice.. Enjoy
