I Feel Overwhelmed

I am single, running my own home and I never seem to be done. Every single weekend , i have a list of chores to get done. And of course, I never get done. One chore begets another so I decided to take a week off and try to get ahead of the game.

Do you ever feel that way?

Constantly. When I try to take a moment for myself I feel guilty of the things I'm ignoring. *hugs* I get it beauty.

@akindheart: I finally broke down and spent the weekend taking care of myself. No housework, no cooking, no cleaning...just me, the bed and a book. I just didn't care anymore...had to take care of myself. All the crap was still waiting for me this morning but the overwhelming feeling doesn't seem as bad now. Please remember to be kind to yourself...

@Pinkstarburst: I know you have had a rough time lately. just reach out when you need a friend. i promise to always respond. i am going to take off the week of May 22-29 and regroup. i have 2 quilts just waiting to be finished amongst 1000 books to read
