Mine made it to her 100th birthday
All four were involved in WWII

@TAReturns Happy Birthday to her. Wow, 100 years old? That's awesome.

Gran makes the best cup if tea ever and always has cake on hand
One of my grandparents taught me how to play chess and we played more games than I can count. Another taught me Spanish. A third taught me the basics of chemistry and science and would have PTSD flashbacks to WWII when watching shows with explosions on TV.

My grandmother was the sweetest person I know. She took care of me like her own child because my mom was at work.

Her sense of humor and her cooking were the best. I miss her everyday and I wish she didn't have to leave us.

My Grandmother used educate me, play with me and cook whatever I wanted to eat. When I was a kid, with her, I always felt like a Prince who is safe-guarded by Knights 24/7. 🙂
War stories that my grandfather told me (that he fought in), plus his love for America. He told me to always solute the flag when one is presented.

My parents treated me like dirt so it was always nice to be around adults that didn't.
