I Have a Question

anyone know anything about pest repellers for bedbugs? unfortunately im trying to get rid of them, when i first one them i trashed sheets, pillows and blankets, and then used a regular pest repeller, that worked for a couple of wks but then they came back so i got one specifically for bedbugs, had it two wks , i got frustrated and plugged in my first pest repeller next to my new one but i heard they can cancel each other out, today after seeing some bugs i decided to take the first pest repeller out, i have one in the living rm and for over a wk i havent seen one bug so im wondering if its cause the pest repeller is the only one there. how long does it take for them to work? i have an advanced one especially for them, management wont do the heat treatment if you only get one or two at a time which is what ive been getting.after i unplugged the pest repeller and left just one in i havent seen any bugs, is that why? i heard they work better alone. any suggestions? this whole thing is driving me nuts to be honest, if i get rid of my matress and get another one im going to need someone to lift it and just pay them for the new one, so how long does it take before those pest repellers work? my neighbors are seeing them too. and yes ive been bit before. do i need to move away and not take stuff with me? im tempted to do that. fed up.

I'm not sure if this will help you in a furnished house, but I got rid of them in a vacant rental property using a wallpaper steamer in all of the cracks. That was after wasting $800 on an exterminator.

@Capo2 im kind of short so i doubt i can reach all that

Steamers come with extenders, like on your vacuum cleaner or a shop vacuum. Bed bugs can't take the heat.

heat and cold do the best job of getting rid of them..

@SW-User right now the heat is keeping them going , its too hot here even with airconditioning so i cant get it cold enough for them to leave

Have you tried using a bug bomb in every room? I have never dealt with bedbugs, but it's worth a try.

@Shayla never heard of a bug bomb, i do spray too

@pearllederman They're like a spray that you set off in every room and it gets everywhere in the house.

Hmmmmm new mattress or a plastic cover over mattress would work I would imagine
pearllederman · 61-69, F
@Goralski maybe i should try that
Everything you got...put them into direct hot sun in the noon. It will kill the bed bugs and their eggs..

bad luck, even if you do get rid they will recolonise from your neighbors unless they also eradicate them
