Please Tell Me I'm Not Alone In This?

Do any of you have a partner who just doesn't think before he/she acts or gets themselves into a situation???

I swear I love my fiance but today he is just pushing ALL of my buttons. He asked me to post his PS4 on a local sales site for sale. So I did.

Then when someone showed interest, she asked to see pics of it. So I went to take a pic of it but it's like under my fiance's desk, in an out of the way dark place that I can't get a good photo in. So I asked if he would please take it out and let me take pics. He said "Oh I have to clear our data from it, disconnect it, and clean it first."

So I'm like..."ok can you do that then? This girl is waiting for a photo." And he got mad and stormed off. So I had to tell the girl that I would take a pic when I could and send it to her later.

How fucking embarrassing. Makes me look like I don't have my shit together and that pisses me off. He should have had all that crap done BEFORE he even asked me to post it for sale!! That's like putting a 'FOR SALE' sign on a car then when someone comes to buy it you tell them you can't because you're still driving it. 🤬

Please tell me some of you deal with this type of shit too?? 🤦🏻‍♀️

See this is the kinda shit i avoid by having a dildo named lil bitch.
Budwick · 70-79, M
The way to deal with that behavior is to hand him his walking papers.
OK, maybe just a time out.
This is a yellow flag
You took the opportunity to live with the guy before marriage presumably at least in part to see how things work out. This, is part of how things work out.

I would not assume that he will change for some reason.
I would not assume that you can learn to live with his lame behavior.

Shape up, or ship out! IMO

@DearAmbellina2113 Good for you!
Has he expressed any interest in why you think you guys need counseling?
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Budwick no. He pretty much just blindly agrees because I guess he's afraid of me leaving. It's a complicated situation with him and I try to be understanding because his life has not been great or easy and he has shitty parents.

But I'm admittedly reaching the end of my patience with everything. Maybe it's just today, Idk. 🤦🏻‍♀️

@DearAmbellina2113 Ambelina - I know you don't know me from Adam, but I've seen this play out a number of times. Be careful. Consider individual counseling - there's all kinds of flags on the field and I'm not even a counselor!
Don't confuse patience with enabling!
I promise - I'll shut up from here - just be careful.

Well I’m single but my family treats me like that sometimes.

Seriously, your bf needs to get his shit together. Explain to the girl online exactly what you just told us.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@SinlessOnslaught I did. She said she understands and would wait for a pic.
The next time, when he asks you to put something for sell, ask if he's ready for it or if he needs to do anything more to get the item ready.
I hope the next time turns out better.

I never understood the whole adult men playing video games thing, but I'm probably in the minority lol.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Keeper trust me I don't get it either. If I could do it all over again...I wouldn't date a gamer.
Keeper · M
@DearAmbellina2113 I just dont get how they have the time to do it?

Like a few of my friends are my age and are on it every night?! 🤔 I stopped at 18 yrs old
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Keeper you grew up. They didn't.
luctoretemergo · 61-69, M
I hope you'll take this in the humorous spirit with which I mean it...
you guys will make a wonderful married couple! :)
hlpflwthat · M
I might deal with that behavior once or twice before I'd say 'Adios bullfucker.'
Fairydust · F
Tell him to sell his own stuff.. 😬🙄
in10RjFox · M
I don't act in an impulse or follow instructions blindly. And ask more questions and reasoning as to why I must do and they can't. And I take full responsibility of work I delegate. Or I put their contact particulars so I am not in the loop.
StevetheSleeve · 31-35, M
Only the cleaning is needed for a photo. Probably just a quick wipe down.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@StevetheSleeve it's not hard to wipe down but it's hard to disconnect it from the thicket of cords he has under his desk.
StevetheSleeve · 31-35, M
@DearAmbellina2113 Well, considering his attitude maybe some garden shears are the answer. Lol.
Jeffrey53 · 51-55, M
He didn’t need to clean the data she only needed a picture. Unless he has second thoughts about selling it.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Jeffrey53 honestly Idk. I removed the listing and told him to do it himself next time.
Why doesn't he just sell it at gamestop or something?
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@GohantheThird They'd probably rip him off. They pay a fraction of what things are worth.
@DearAmbellina2113 still, he should be handling this himself.

Taking a photo won't show what's on it....unless he has something to hide
