I Hate Politics

I don't want to get into a heated political discussion, but one person's definition of a democracy may not be the same as someone else's. I do understand, and predicted, the outcome of this election many months ago. I realized how angry large portions of the population were about their state of affairs, their feeling that they have been left behind. I also know of the tremendous anger, I would almost call it hatred, that people had/have for Ms. Clinton. There was no talking to them about it, they really couldn't explain it. So I knew her election was doomed.

Now that the election is finally behind us, I do hope that we can heal the wounds that developed because of the vitriol from both sides. I also hope that we do not head into an undemocratic society of bullies who get their way simply by bullying those below them. I truly hope mr. trump meant what he said in his victory speech, that he looks forward to an open government!

@LesDeplorable: By true democracy you mean my community's rights being at risk yet again? Having a man who is against my sexuality? My gender? Having a man who is for the deportation of immigrants and is racist and pro-rape? Yeah, because that's what politics is all about.
