Some advice

My sister had asked me if I wanted to help her make dinner. I don't feel comfortable helping her with the meal because I'm worried that she might be rude to me. My sister can be mean to me sometimes. One time my sister cooked dinner and my helped her. She was very impatient with mom. I'm worried the same thing might happen with me.

{@mylegguy2012] that sounds quiet mean of your sister as you have offered to help and she does that . you could give it a shot helping her . if she starts getting smart with her mouth you walk away and let her get on with it by herself. obviously to take that attitude she does not appreciate or deserve your time help and effort

@MyLegGuy2020 you should not be afraid . she cannot rule by fear . there is an old saying sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me

@smiler2012 So I eventually offered to help her with the food but she has an attitude with me. So now I don't even know what to do anymore. Should I be in the kitchen or should I be off in my room until its ready. It's a dish she's never made so it takes a little while to prepare.

Um, is she feeding you?

Can you not handle someone being rude to you?

Generally, I'd say, she's feeding you, so suck it up help her out, and get a full belly, then you can go get some personal time!

Work for the food :D

But that's assuming you can mentally handle it...
