Emotional Wars
My parents have had a turbulent life together, and although they are now living apart it is still very awkward at times being their daughter. My mother has embarked on a life of art and galleries, she manages a gallery in Bruxelles now. My father has been travelling, with his lifelong interest in Buddhism, he has been to Bhutan and Japan to discover things for himself.
I hardly see them now, I have my own life to live and I have flown the nest, I'm in the process of constructing my own business, beginning with the apothecary, and now the partnership with Maria and her husband in restoring the old abandoned villa, into apartments we can rent out and recover our investment with a joint income venture. What else the Fates have for me will steadily come in time.
