I Do My Own Laundry

I always washed my own undies as a teenager since I was about 13. I don't think teenage girls should expect their moms to wash their undies especially when they have started their periods. I also think hand-washing is much better way of getting panties clean. When my nieces stay with me they have to hand-wash their own panties.

Pfft. I tossed them in the washing machine with my other things. Turned out just fine.
@bijouxbroussard: I guess it's a little cleaner is all. 😕
@Umile18: What is, hand washing ? Not necessarily.
@bijouxbroussard: it's pretty simple. Soak whatever. A bit of soap. And rubadubdub.
@Umile18: Whereas with the machine: open door, toss in, add soap, close door, press button. And go do something else. 😉
@bijouxbroussard:True. It is easier. Most don't have that time. Not as clean though. 😏
@Umile18: I disagree that they're not as clean ! If you have a good machine and you use enough soap they'll be just as clean.
@bijouxbroussard: Really? I mean, I'm not trying to start an argument over underwear, but really? It's WAY cleaner. If you just toss it in the washer it will stay stained. Need to handwash it first. If it's real bad I just toss them.
@Umile18: It occurred to me that I used to use something called "Soilove" (came in a green bottle with a heart), treat the stains with that solution and soak it in the bathroom sink---then toss the garment in the machine. It worked beautifully to remove stains and I think it's still around.
@bijouxbroussard: Now you're talking. Soilove you say? Sounds useful. I should try it. 🤔😏
Omg!!! So damn funny @bijouxbroussard:
