I Do My Own Laundry

I always washed my own undies as a teenager since I was about 13. I don't think teenage girls should expect their moms to wash their undies especially when they have started their periods. I also think hand-washing is much better way of getting panties clean. When my nieces stay with me they have to hand-wash their own panties.

@Umile18: It occurred to me that I used to use something called "Soilove" (came in a green bottle with a heart), treat the stains with that solution and soak it in the bathroom sink---[b]then[/b] toss the garment in the machine. It worked beautifully to remove stains and I think it's still around.
