I found a group on here called :
I Have Dermatillomania
Its the clinical term for "picking". I searched it on the web and found out that its a type of OCD. And can be sucessfully treated. You all might wanna check it out for yourself. Thought it might help some of you to know you truely arent alone. Millions suffer from this. It was a huge relief to me at least so I just wanted to share.

I started at a very young age. But due to drugs its gotten worse over time. Its pretty bad now, but used to be worse. I am see a psych for my bipolar/ personality dissorder. Am starting a new med this week to OCD to try and combat this horrible problem. So we will see.

was good to hear others who have the same problem as me, i am not a freak after all. thanks for the advice!! gonna get onto sorting this out!! how did you start to stop? doctor, pyschotherapy?
