Ramble....

Volunteer/ help /serve needy people for free. Tell them your father is the inspiration behind this help. To stay in people's heart is best place to be present somewhere after you left the world. Moreover, people's true prayers will make his soul rest in peace with god. If you can't do the service you can hire someone to do for you and convey the message. Or just make donations on his name.

Cherish n remember your father how n where you feel you want to but as others say hes in most important place..
.that's in your heart it wont hurt also to either paint his picture or engrave his name on a bench if you so you cant forget him

Do whatever it takes to cherish his memory, all of the above, none of it and something different. Whatever you feel needs to happen.

As long as you remember him his name is carved in the most special place your heart.
