Why aren’t people more aware of the words coming out of their mouth?
Literally so annoying
@PepsiColaP that's one of the rare correct usages.
@NerdyPotato literally who cares ,I can literally use it however I want 😌

I hate the term literally!!!
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
It’s a word that could be deleted from existence and the world would be better for it. @courtney0380
spjennifer · 61-69, T

Oh I agree...I get so tired of hearing that...especially from the younger kids....
And also another phrase..... I'll be perfectly honest with you !!!!!
Midlifemale · 61-69, M
@jackjjackson when they say that, it insinuates that they've been lying up to that point.
It makes them seem like what they're telling you is just a bunch of words and maybe not really the truth...so when the story is getting more truthful, then they have to say that.... whatever....
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Disagree. Lie comes right after claim of honesty. @Midlifemale
Midlifemale · 61-69, M
@jackjjackson oh ok...lol
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
It reminds me of when I was in junior high and someone would be talking about what another student did and someone would remark “So mature…”
Snowleopard2000 · 51-55, M
Literally once a minute... Oh someone's already done that joke. They actually changed the definition in the dictionary because people misused the word.

cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
This 15 year old boy does at least once a week. He uses it when he wants to emphasize that something happened.
mainvane · 61-69, M

I literally do it on purpose to be annoying. I'm literally that guy one can't admit your pet peeves to without suffering.

Literally and like are two words that are abused by so many people. I'm sure there are others but I can't think of them right now.
BigGuy2 · 26-30, M
