I Am Lonely

I've realised conversation online fades very quickly most of the time and there are probably many reasons for this. Either people do not want to be invested in someone too much or people have nothing in common to keep talking.

Socializing online is a poor substitute for real life interaction.

Spend more time with your real life friends and family. You will find it much more fulfilling.

It happens some of them are fake and some scared of getting caught up with the fake. This type of "social interaction" can lead to a lot of infatuation and idealism that does not carry over into reality it triggers a type of "playing house" thing and that cuss sucks. There is nothing like real. Real food, real company , real laughter real isn't what's up anyway just talking

Some people just fade away. They do that in real life as well. I have a small group of people here I stay in contact with. You can actually make meaningful relationships here. Some people can't just sit and chat, most here have jobs and are online from work and are governed by workload as to how much time can be devoted. I fall in that category myself. Some days I have a lot of time and some days it is limited. I come here mostly to post stories and poems and an occasional book promo.

I still have a few people I talk daily to on here. I can tell if someone can't open up and I give up.

Agree, they contact you exchange general chat for a while but don’t actuall go any ware and then disappear, no point at all 🤯

That's just how it is with real life friends. You text for a while and then nothing for a while and then text. That's how it works when you have other life obligations and is just realistic.

Yaa this happened with me too.. I want anyone who really interested in friendship here! I look for true and long friendship! Not time pass!

People act like this even outside of the internet. It kinda irritates me too

so are you genuinely interested in knowing people or just stuck with replying to those who message you?

This place is secondary for most people.. so yeah.. it's very inconsistent.
