This feeling is the epitome of my existence. Everyone around me just tolerates me, when they need something, they feel less cheap in asking for my help. Once that has occurred it's back to sly glances shot at me from affar.

I do, though I've learned that it has little to do with me. Their own discomforts, life choices, and finding that person or place they belong is just as much of a struggle for them as it is myself.

It just depends who I'm around. A friend I've had for 18 years now will put me down but I let it go. You put up with people. You help them when you can. That's what friends are for..
