		I guess because we literally eat it every day, with every meal, on its own, and we have a lot of different variations of rice dishes, and have a huge pot of rice in the rice cooker at all times. 		Hell, I am White and I love rice myself. I think it is associated with the cultures/ethnicities most plentiful food source as taught by our peers sadly to say.
