I Have No Social Skills

This must be true since I've been called cold, rude, arrogant, and snotty by someone 20 years older than me. All I did was tell him I didn't care about his personal life. How bad is that?
I wonder if he realizes I was able to find his other profile since he always starts with the same line.

@lasergraph I don’t think that’s true. Others don’t care about my stuff as much as I do, of course. That doesn’t mean it’s fake empathy. It just means the kids are due home from school, one has a dentist appointment, the other has soccer practice and I have to figure out what’s for dinner.

I can’t expect someone to empty their calendar because I’m having a crisis. I’m the center of my universe. I’m not the center of theirs.

@Mamapolo2016 Possibly. I always keep in mind, when someone asks, "How are you?" They aren't looking for a 3 hour report. A simple "I'm fine" usually meets with a sigh of relief.
