Anyone else here old enough to consider moving into a senior care facility?

I am 75 and find I am no longer able to take good care of myself. I have little accidents all the time, mostly tripping and falling down into my clutter and junk. I have no energy to cook anything; I eat microwaved frozen foods and take out salads. I send out my laundry, can barely lift it anymore.

I'm well on my way to being old enough to consider it - but there's another way to look at it.

One of the more unfortunate aspects of aging alone is that you often feel isolated.

A senior facility offers a community and help. There will be neighbors who understand your concerns because their concerns are similar.

It doesn't have to be surrender, but a strong stride toward better.

@Mamapolo2016 My problem is that I would have to move to Mexico; I have checked and there is no way I can afford a senior care facility in the US.
@greenmountaingal We really need to plan for this in the U.S. Your situation is not unusual.
