I'm well on my way to being old enough to consider it - but there's another way to look at it.
One of the more unfortunate aspects of aging alone is that you often feel isolated.
A senior facility offers a community and help. There will be neighbors who understand your concerns because their concerns are similar.
It doesn't have to be surrender, but a strong stride toward better.

@Mamapolo2016 My problem is that I would have to move to Mexico; I have checked and there is no way I can afford a senior care facility in the US.

Iam not old enough to want to do this yet, but am considering moving into sheltered housing in the future. It’s a good idea you get security and company so if you want to do it go for it 👍
