I Am Determined

Well today is day 2 of going back to the Keto diet. I feel absolutely amazing! Last time I fell off and then got back with it I had a HORRIBLE headache from the switch, but today I drank a protein type of drink made specifically for people doing Keto. I've never done drugs lol but daaaang, that sure felt like some type of high. I got an insane amount of cleaning and organizing done that I've been putting off for a while now. So excited to see how long I can keep it up haha.

Is this low carbs?
@CathyUK Essentially. Low carb/ High healthy fat diet that puts you into ketosis.. which is basically the state of burning fat for energy. :)

@Rachel335 Oh I have read about Atkins but never tried it. Have you lost much fat from using it before?
@CathyUK It is very similar to Atkins! I lost about 30 pounds before. I fell off track and gained some back, but am working on it now lol. It is an amazing way of eating. Surprisingly is very good at keeping cravings to a minimum, for myself at least.

@Rachel335 wow that sounds good, and you don't feel low energy then? I hear that with Atkins some people do
@CathyUK Oh wow! I didn't know some people felt that way, that stinks. I've never had that problem personally. When I'm eating low carb/high fat I feel a thousand times more energetic and motivated than when I'm eating junk. I guess it varies for each person.

That's great. Are you far off your target weight?
I've still got a pretty good way to go, but I'll get there. Slowly but surely haha. Has there been a certain diet that has worked well for you?

@Rachel335 No, just portion control for me and cutting down certain carbs, especially bread and potatoes
