Gymnastics sleepover

On Tuesday I was helping to supervise a fun sleepover in our gym for gymnasts from years 5-6, most of whom are the same size as me or bigger. When we had the girls settled down for the night, I went for a breath of fresh air outside the gym and got shouted at by a teacher who thought I was one of the small people trying to escape 🙄

I did gymnastics when I was 8 for a while. I tried to teach my friends but their parents complained and made me stop because it was too dangerous on the concrete sidewalk.

@SW-User I liked tumbling. forward roll, backward roll, and handstands. I had to do a handstand against the wall though. I lost interest and wanted to take up dancing but we couldn't find a teacher locally.

@WonderGirl1 That's a shame. I love dancing too. If you'd had the right teacher you could have learnt choreography for a floor routine 🙂
