I Want to Run Away

Why don't we run away to Spanish Mallorca? It always was our little joke, but no one ever laughs; I guess they've heard it before. So I dream of thin white beaches on summer hot days and the sound of close up tango with that running bass. Oh my dear, what about you? I'd like to escape to a foreign land, lie with you on the shore of Spain, dream our dreams and live out our love without this hurry in our lives. Why don't we run away to Mallorca? It sounds a lovely plan for two: strolling in the sand, just me and you. I know it seems so crazy, but we're in love and that's all I have for you, but it feels enough. Oh my darling, how about you? I'd like to escape to a foreign land, lie with you on the shores of Spain, dream our dreams and live out our love without this hurry in our lives. Why don't we run away to Spain?
