I Am Algerian

My father is Algerian. He speaks of the places he knew. In the east. Annaba where he comes from. Tebessa. Souk Ahras. I spelt wrong! I so want to see those places. He speaks also of Constantine. Is that a place?

Yes it is, named after a great conqueror. In North Africa I believe. I've been out of school a long time. I loved traveling even though it was military duty or work related.
Your father is wiser for his travels even though he loves you more.

There is such a place? @kentex35

Its in eastern Algeria, sits on a plateau framed by a deep revine with several bridges including the Sidi M'Cid bridge. I didn't see any other name. Onan and some other city is larger
630 meters above sea level

Thank you. My Dad never speaks much of Constantine. It’s more Annaba. @kentex35

@LiliMaiJones maybe he's not fond of the Romans

Constantine 3rd largest city in Algeria. Named for a 3rd century Roman emperor.

My Dad remembers under French rule. He was a kid then. And Annaba was called Bône. @Mamapolo2016
@Mamapolo2016 I thought the original name was after constantine, but the rename for it from the chant thing.
