I Am Tired Of All The Slut-Shaming

I’m 20 and if I want to wear a body suit or even go naked on my pole that’s my choice. If I wanted to wear nipple tassels or just my underwear set that’s my choice. If I wanted to wear shorts that’s my choice too. And it isn’t slutty as you need to show your skin to grip and some acts require certain costumes such as exotic. And even if I didn’t need to show skin I can still do that as I’m an adult and it’s my body. And If I feel confident I shouldn’t be forcred to cover up. I’m still a virgin and my clothes don’t define who I am or my consent. And I’m not even trying to loose my virginity not until marriage anyway and that’s my personal choice. Nobody has the rights to tell me what to wear or shame or sexualise me. I’m sick of hearing people including my dads girlfriend having ago tell me I can’t wear certain things or to cover up , if I did whilst doing pole stuff for more advanced tricks I would slide straight off and hurt myself. And people will always sexualise something no matter what so what I wear doesn’t really effect you or hurt you

There's nothing wrong with doing naked pole dancing, but that is kinda sexual. I don't see why society has to view sexual/slutty behavior in general as a bad thing; if someone wants to have sex with strangers or, in your case, dance around naked, there's nothing wrong with that. Just own it, my dawg.

@BlueVeins well said. And yeah I don’t care what other people do as they aren’t hurting anyone. I probably won’t dance naked unless I got a job for it , it was mainly an example but it would just be a job to me.

I am so with you on this. I'm in a same-sex relationship and also a larger woman and I hate the anxiety that goes with it, being out in public together or what I'm wearing while sitting down at the lake. It's the same sort of thing, people enforcing these 'rules' without thought. Like what is 'proper' and acceptable. If your body or attire doesn't conform then it is wrong. And I'm not saying it would be ok to walk around with nipple tassles in a mall for example but just being a female and just being nude doesn't automatically equate to sex or mean that you want attention because of it. Same with Adele and the picture of her in the news this week.

Well naked pole dancing is sexual, no matter how you paint it. Come on man.

@Invocations and they still deserve respect
@SW-User In theory I agree. Sadly that isn’t how it is. You will be judged for everything you do and if you’re sliding up and down a pole naked well...expect ...you know what expect.

Stripping is sexual, right?
SW-User
@SW-User not all pole dancing is stripping. And strippers still deserve respect. There’s theatre , theres exotic style which different as I did it in class (no nudity involved in the one I did ) , there’s pole fitness which is the gymnastics side of it which I also did for a few months, there’s the style we’re you do similar dance moves to what they do in music videos which I can’t remember what it’s called and there’s classic/art themed.

@SW-User thanks for clarifying. I never knew the difference

Most the girls working in places that offer pole dancing are college educated or in college not sluts but find out the money is good
