Running in the Corridor

When we were in 6th form a friend and I were chasing her brother along a corridor and got stopped by a teacher. We were taken to his classroom where we all had to bend over for six with the slipper.

@helensusanswift At my school, being caught running in the corridor too often could mean a trip to the headmaster for the cane.

@helensusanswift When I was at school, classroom slippering were very common. There were many days that no one in a class got slippered. The cane was quite common too, there were usually a few canings at least most weeks.

@Sharon We only had detentions, lines and punishment exercises. And exclusions.

@helensusanswift We didn't get many detentions and lines were usually thin red ones applied with a cane on our bottoms.
