I Have Asthma

I usually know how to handle it, but it has been getting worse and worse, and right now I’ve been on prednisone for 9 days. My doctor recently changed it to 16 days because my cough and my breathing have not gotten better.
And if anyone has ever taken prednisone you know the side effects are horrid. I haven’t been able to sleep well, and it’s caused really bad migraines, the mood swings are absolutely insane. I can’t do this shit anymore.

Ugh, I’m so sorry. My asthma is not under control right now. I am hoping it will get back to manageable so I do not have to go a round with the steroids.

Mine was under control for a long period of time, but now it’s every 2 months or so, I get extremely sick, so it’s shitty

Mine was fine for a long time, maybe about a week ago it started getting bad. I haven’t missed my meds, and I started taking treatments, but it’s not helping enough. I had a bad attack at work today, my rescue inhaler wasn’t enough. I hope yours starts getting better soon, prednisone is horrible!

Ughh i HATE prednisone 😭😭 i used to be on it for such a long time but mine was for my sickness i was also on a super high dose so my face would retain water and it made my cheeks so puffy i would get bullied in school for looking like "a chickmunk" i also feel like it would make my appetite increase!
