I Am Not a Feminist

Modern feminism doesn't welcome debate, it has become static and dogmatic, and fascist. You either agree with the forced consensus or you're shouted down.

It's a real shame women do not have a reasoning and reasonable voice piece.
I decided it was cowardly to just heart this. Feminism should be an important and powerful tool. Unfortunately, if understandably, a sense of reason and a sense of humor has never been part of it. I have benefited from feminism actions and I am grateful. And I am still hoping that when the power really is evenly balanced, maybe we can all lighten up a little.
@Mamapolo2016 AMEN :) It really was not.

I am getting older and, more cynical.🤷🏻 I think, I am just losing hope (for myself).

So, thank you for your honesty.

I am going to work at seeing things in a brighter light. I am going to dedicate myself to seeking out
people of like mind and heart and soul.

I can talk the talk and I was so valiantly walking the walk.

I still do.
I have a bunch of illnesses and that's a huge reason I am in the dumps.
But I think the hard reality is I don't have the metaphorical tool box to help me.
I mean, it is there, but almost empty.
But it's OK. I will never give up. I will keep fighting the good fight.

Have a lovely day dear. 🌈🌺🌞
Let’s stay in touch.
@Mamapolo2016 I'd like that :)

I think this is true of most groups, not just feminist. Groups like to adopt a singular point of view and are reluctant to accept any opposing viewpoint. Oh they will argue freedom of speech to protect their rights, they just won't support it for yours. We have become a divided nation unfortunately with divisions in race, gender, political affiliation, age and possibly some more I haven't thought of. When we have so many groups talking, no one is listening.
You speak truth. Frightening truth.@lasergraph

@Mamapolo2016 We need honest dialog and we only get monologue.
Yes, from both narrow sides and the rest of us are in the middle ... and in the soup.

The feminist movement was essential at initially breaking the bond of women. It has progressed, I hope, into the situation in which a woman has the right to choose what it is she wants. You seem to have benefitted from that. Don't listen to those requiring uniformity, they are not good for the movement.
Ok. If you want to debate go on twitter. There's an entire sub culture of internet feminists who would engage you.
