I Want to Fall In Love Again

I was in love a long time ago. I was young and beautiful and so was he. Those days are honey colored gold, like the perpetual sunshine that streamed through the red curtain in the living room where we would lay on the sofa and hug for hours, gold like the guitar strings his lovely fingers played with devastating skill...gold like the color of his beautiful curly hair. I loved him with all of my heart, with all of my being.
What happened needn't be dragged out into the sunshine at this time and place but I just want to say

when will it find me? It's been 15 years since that great love of mine ended...I'm forty years old and I am a woman. Things are looking a bit gray literally and figuratively.
