if the man is married, the woman single-- it's with him.
if the man is single, the woman married-- it's with her.
if they are both married-- with both of them.

@CopperCicada well that's incorrect. It's both parties fault since both of them betrayed another human being.

It's said in the Bible that it's a sin to lay your eyes on another person's partner. That is what I stand firmly by.

Im not judging anyone btw. Im just saying how it's both people's faults.

the married person stands up in front of god, family, friends, whoever when they are married. and when they cheat they are betraying all of them, as well as their spouse, and the person they are cheating with.

the "other", presuming they are not similarly betrothed, is not betraying as many people.

@CopperCicada Yet they are still betraying people and doing wrong while being aware that what they're doing is wrong. Hence why the answer to Tonia3's question is "because it is their fault".

But I would place the married person as much more at fault.
