Tater tot fans, perfect cook time and temperature?

I've been experimenting. Last time was 45 minutes at 425. They came crispy, not burnt, but I feel like I could get them just a bit crispier.

I let them out of the freezer for about 30-45 minutes and then stick them in hot cooking oil. they'll get crisp real quick.

@DanielChristensen Actually I don't. i put just enough il in the pan to barely cover the bottom. And I turn them with tongs. they cook real fast so it's kind of a bother but worth it to have them soft on the inside and crisp on the outside. I usually make them only for breakfast tacos. Egg, sausage and tater tots makes a very good one. and so I don't make but about 8-10 at a time.

@SW-User They come really good that way, but I am looking for juuuust a little bit crispier. There are some solid ideas below.
